Jonathan Tepper has a great idea on how to support the Washington Capitals as they enter the playoffs AND Special Olympics MD – Montgomery County (SOMO): The Washington Capitals made the playoffs and as part of hockey tradition, men shall not shave their beards from the moment the puck is dropped in the first game (in our case Thursday night) until their team in eliminated from the playoffs. This hopefully could be June if the Caps make it to the Stanley Cup finals. Out of this tradition has come an opportunity in support of good luck and team work for a greater cause. Pledge a flat dollar amount or for every day we are in the playoffs, each day I shall not shave, you donate $$/day. Remember that this could go for weeks if the Caps go far in the playoffs so some serious fun fundraising is our goal.. Join me.. Pictures of my lovely stubble will follow… LETS GO CAPS!!
